From September 17 to 21, 2024, the forest industry world-class event DEMO International is coming to the Ottawa / Gatineau region for its 14th edition. Again for this edition, FPInnovations will be present to meet with industry stakeholders and present its flagship projects of the forest operations sector.

DEMO International technical conference
On September 17-18, the DEMO International technical conference will take place in Ottawa (Ontario) and is a must-attend event for industry professionals, researchers, and stakeholders passionate about forestry innovation and sustainable practices.
Organized by the Canadian Woodlands Forum in collaboration with the Canadian Wood Fibre Centre, FPInnovations, and Université Laval, the conference will cover the latest advancements in forestry technology and management, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in forest management and wood product utilization.
DEMO International forestry equipment show
From September 19 to 21, the event will move to the Venosta (Québec) region for its forestry equipment exhibition. FPInnovations will hold a booth, where research teams will be available to discuss projects aimed at improving forest operations, reducing operating costs and improving workier safety, among other things.
Participants will also get the opportunity to learn more about Algorex and KMS 360, a complete service for the continuous process monitoring of kiln drying. Algorex combines the knowledge of digital analysts and of FPInnovations drying experts to provide the industry with robust digital solutions to accelerate the digital transformation of the wood manufacturing sector.
