EQUIPMENT
In order for our results to be indisputable, so that we can support you in your business decisions, we believe that testing must be conducted under conditions that are as close as possible to real operating conditions. We therefore have the best technologies to perform road or track tests.
Fuel consumption
- Flowmeter (accuracy of± 0.5% and precision of ± 0.2%) coupled with a GPS system
- Weigh-in-motion system for gravity measurement of consumption on the road
- Portable fuel tanks and precision scales for static gravity measurement
Temperature
Thermal cameras, thermal imagers and infrared thermometers as well as specialized data acquisition systems.
Track control
- Radar system (gun with large LED display panel)
- Transponder for revolution counter
- Field computers
ELD testing and certification
FMCSA requires ELD providers to certify that their solutions meet the regulation requirements. How can you be sure that the ELD solutions registered on the FMCSA are in fact compliant?
VERIFICATION PROGRAM
The PIT Group ELD verification program is a systematic process that monitors that tests were performed according to the FMCSA requirements. ELD suppliers that are successfully verified will obtain a certificate of compliance along with the authorization to refer to PIT Group as their third-party verification service on their marketing material. Following the same principles of accounting verification, the PIT Group ELD Verification will verify test results and process for all 8 elements required by FMCSA’s ELD Test procedures.
The thorough process performed by our highly qualified team includes remote, on-site and in-vehicle verification.
