Cinq projets, entrepris dans le cadre de cette initiative, sont r\u00e9sum\u00e9s dans les rapports suivants (cliquez sur le titre des rapports pour les consulter ou les t\u00e9l\u00e9charger) :<\/p>\n<p><em> <img class=\"alignright wp-image-292052 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/web.fpinnovations.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/wildfire-rpas-resized-e1651772775463.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"270\" height=\"176\" \/>Exploring the Feasibility and Value of RPAS in the Wildfire Domain<\/em> (Brandon MacKinnon \u2013 Examen de la faisabilit\u00e9 et de la valeur des SATP dans le domaine des feux de for\u00eat). R\u00e9sum\u00e9\u00a0: La direction de la gestion des feux de for\u00eat du gouvernement de l\u2019Alberta utilise des h\u00e9licopt\u00e8res et des a\u00e9ronefs \u00e0 voilure fixe pour r\u00e9aliser des missions de balayage infrarouge et de reconnaissance dans la province. La technologie des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019a\u00e9ronefs t\u00e9l\u00e9pilot\u00e9s (SATP) est maintenant moins co\u00fbteuse et plus efficace sur le plan de la capacit\u00e9 de charge utile, des capteurs et des temps de vol. Comme le gouvernement de l\u2019Alberta cherche des fa\u00e7ons d\u2019accro\u00eetre son efficacit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle, les SATP pourraient combler une niche dans les op\u00e9rations de gestion des feux de for\u00eat.<\/p>\n<p><em><img class=\"alignleft wp-image-292056 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/web.fpinnovations.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/wildfire-water-enhancer-1-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web.fpinnovations.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/wildfire-water-enhancer-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/web.fpinnovations.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/wildfire-water-enhancer-1.jpg 576w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Ground-Based Water-Enhancer Application for Debris-Pile Burning: A Case Study in the Calgary Forest Area<\/em> (Razim Refai \u2013 Application terrestre d\u2019additifs am\u00e9liorant les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de l\u2019eau pour le br\u00fblage de piles de d\u00e9bris\u00a0: \u00c9tude de cas dans la r\u00e9gion foresti\u00e8re de Calgary) R\u00e9sum\u00e9\u00a0: Des piles de d\u00e9bris ont \u00e9t\u00e9 dispers\u00e9es dans un peuplement trait\u00e9 pour r\u00e9duire les combustibles dans la for\u00eat exp\u00e9rimentale Jumpingpound. Les arbres debout \u00e9taient consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des actifs \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger alors que les piles devaient \u00eatre br\u00fbl\u00e9es. R\u00e9sum\u00e9\u00a0: Un feu d\u2019origine humaine a \u00e9t\u00e9 allum\u00e9 le 6\u00a0mai 2021 dans le comt\u00e9 de Parkland, en Alberta, pr\u00e8s de la localit\u00e9 rurale de Tomahawk. Parmi les nombreuses ressources gouvernementales d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es pour lutter contre l\u2019incendie, on trouvait des syst\u00e8mes de distribution d\u2019eau \u00e0 haut volume fournis par Fire &amp; Flood Emergency Service Ltd. R\u00e9sum\u00e9\u00a0: Le syst\u00e8me mobile de distribution d\u2019eau \u00e0 haut volume Trident est un syst\u00e8me autonome. Ses principaux composants sont deux v\u00e9hicules utilitaires, une pompe \u00e0 haut volume de 200 hp ainsi que 7\u00a0000\u00a0pi (2\u00a0134\u00a0m) de boyaux de 4 po. Il peut fournir 500 gpm d\u2019eau \u00e0 190 psi en situation op\u00e9rationnelle de lutte contre l\u2019incendie. Alberta Wildfire a demand\u00e9 \u00e0 FPInnovations de documenter trois d\u00e9ploiements r\u00e9alis\u00e9s en 2021 afin de d\u00e9terminer les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019utilisation du syst\u00e8me et de r\u00e9duire les lacunes dans les connaissances sur les saines pratiques de d\u00e9ploiement.<\/p>\n<p><em><img class=\"alignright wp-image-292061 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/web.fpinnovations.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/wildfire-smoke-detection-resized-300x222.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"222\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web.fpinnovations.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/wildfire-smoke-detection-resized-300x222.png 300w, https:\/\/web.fpinnovations.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/wildfire-smoke-detection-resized-768x569.png 768w, https:\/\/web.fpinnovations.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/wildfire-smoke-detection-resized.png 834w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Understanding How Well Current Detection Technology Uses Imagery from Existing Cameras on Towers to Detect Smoke<\/em> (Rex Hsieh et Greg Baxter \u2013 Dans quelle mesure la technologie existante de d\u00e9tection utilise efficacement les images de cam\u00e9ras plac\u00e9es sur des tours pour d\u00e9tecter la fum\u00e9e). R\u00e9sum\u00e9\u00a0: Sept fournisseurs ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 un exercice de d\u00e9tection de fum\u00e9e r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en Alberta, au Canada, du 23 au 29 ao\u00fbt 2021. L\u2019exercice visait \u00e0 comprendre dans quelle mesure la technologie existante de d\u00e9tection utilise efficacement les images des cam\u00e9ras actuellement mont\u00e9es sur des tours pour d\u00e9tecter la fum\u00e9e. Les syst\u00e8mes de tous les fournisseurs participants int\u00e8grent des algorithmes d\u2019intelligence artificielle\/d\u2019apprentissage machine.
